I have found a pretty neat little Warhammer Fantasy app for android. It's made by @FantasyMathHamr called Fantasy MathHammer. The price is perfect at 0.00 US (that's 0.00 Euros if I've converted it correctly.)
If I haven't already convinced you with the price, I guess I could actually say what the hell it is/does. Fantasy MathHammer allows you to put in 2 different units Warhammer units, you can select unit options, command options, number of models, the unit configuration etc, and MathHammer will simulate the fight for you. There is no need to own all the different army books, learn the stats, or know any math. This just does it for you.
Think about it this way, if you're a fairly casual player and you're up against an army you haven't fought before, this is a really quick way to judge a unit's destructive power. For example, if I've never played against Vampire counts and I see a unit of 60 zombies and want to know if my unit of 8 Maneaters are enough to take them out. MathHammer can do that for you!
The app itself is really cleanly designed, it only takes a quick glance at it to figure out how to use it. It is still in the early stages of development, so not all unit options are present, but it is being actively developed with new releases coming out all the time. You can follow the author's blog at http://blogofgrudges.blogspot.ie/ and see the updates as they roll out.
In conclusion, stop reading this and go download it. It's FREE.

Stormtalon mostly done
I still have a good bit of cleaning up to do, but I feel like it's far enough along that showing it now is no different than showing once I've completed the cleanup. I am actually much closer to being done with this than the photos show, I just don't have any battery in my camera at the moment.
More pictures to come soon as I am almost done with it.
This Stormtalon is brought to you by Malibu Black... mmmmmm

Landspeeder Typhoon and Storm Talon
After having pretty much completed my HQ, I wanted to make my Landspeeder Typhoon look a little less shitty so I spent a little more time on that. Mostly just evening out the red paint and cleaning up spots where I didn't color inside the lines (Mrs. Anderson would be so ashamed of me.)
I've learned a lot from painting the Typhoon. I wanted to use it as a test of a couple things. Firstly, I wanted to see how the orange and black stripped "caution" sections would look on, and I gotta say, I think I like them. I'm going to probably go back and put them on the wings of the Landspeeder Storm.
The second thing I wanted to test was seeing what a mostly red vehicle would look like. When I did my tau, I really liked the way the vehicles stood out from the troops so I wanted to see that was something that would work here... specifically for the Storm Talon that has been begging for me to start painting it.
After seeing how the Typhoon is coming out, I've decided that I'm going to go with the mostly white color scheme on it. I don't think I'll go back and change the Typhoon, because I do like it, and if/when I get another Typhoon, I'll probably go with that color scheme.
Having decided on going mostly white, I started putting paint onto the Storm Talon. It's primed and I started doing some of the ink work.

KHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAANNNNNNNN!!!! is almost done.
Did some work on painting the Command Squad Banner Bearer and finally started painting my Kor'Sarro Khan on Moondraken equivalent. Roll that beautiful bean footage.
And now the moment no one has been waiting for...........
Still some touch up work to do. I'm not very good at doing little details at 3:00am so I figured I'd wait till my brain was working 100% to do some of the touch ups.
I also need to finalize what I want on his banner and start figuring out how I'm going to do it. I've bought some good card stock for making it, I mostly just need to figure out a design.

Flickr Problems
I am aware that the images aren't working for everything. From what I've gathered it's a Flickr issue that should get sorted out and everything else will start working again.

WIP Landspeeder and Bike Command Squad Banner
First off, let me umm.. apologize??? I guess for the lack of updates. I just haven't really had much to show as because I've been doing a lot of assembly line painting so instead of seeing the old pictures of unpainted bikes, I didn't feel the need to take pictures of slightly less unpainted bikes.
But not everything I've been up to is mindless painting. I put a lil work into my Landspeeder Typhoon. Let me start by saying I cheated. I know my limits as a painter, so I bought myself of pinstripping tape from amazon to make the straight lines. If I had one complaint with it, it would be that it's not sticky enough. I get that it's supposed to come off easily and not ruin the paint underneath. That being said, once I was aware of it, I just pressed harder on the tape when I put the tape down and all was well.

The red is gonna need another coat.
Tonight I decided to take a stab at the banner for my Command Squad. This is probably the best "freehand" thing I've ever painted. The circle in the center was done by take a square of painters tape, tracing a circle onto it, and cutting it out with an exacto knife. Then I was able to just press the piece of tape to the banner. It is by far the easiest way to get a perfect circle onto an uneven surface. The rest of it was done with me holding my breath and praying I didn't fuck it up and have to start over from the beginning. The blue is going to need some touching up, but to be honest, I wasn't expecting to get it the first try so I wasn't worried about it. Guess I should have had more confidence.
I know it's not the best thing ever... but fuck you.
Some of you might recognize the flag but for the rest of ya...
